Visit to Abraham Lincoln

Sunday,
March 29:
Sr. Assumpta, Sr. Noel, Sylwia, Emily, Sr. Emi, and her parents went to Springfield, Illinois to visit Abraham Lincoln. He wasn't at home. But we did see the house where he lived with his family in Springfield, and a wonderful museum that told us all about his life. The museum was very high-tech and well done. This trip was special because Sr. Emi's parents from New York City came with us. The weather was interesting, too: in the morning, we had snow, and in the afternoon, we had spring! No more snow! In the evening, Sr. Emi's parents took us to supper at an Italian restaurant. What a beautiful Sunday!
P.S. "Whatever you are, be a good one." -Abraham Lincoln
